Beschwerdestelle nach dem Allgemeinen Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG)
Das Allgemeine Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG) soll dazu beitragen, dass Diskriminierungen am Arbeitsplatz unterbleiben. Für Arbeitgeber und Besch?ftigte gilt ein Diskrimierungsverbot.
Das AGG gibt den Besch?ftigten das Recht, sich bei der Dienststelle zu beschweren, wenn sie sich im Zusammenhang mit ihrem Besch?ftigungsverh?ltnis vom Arbeitgeber, von Vorgesetzten, anderen Besch?ftigten oder Dritten wegen eines in §1 AGG genannten Grundes benachteiligt fühlen.
Die AGG-Beschwerdestelle ist Ansprechpartner für alle Besch?ftigten der Universit?t im Sinne von?§6 AGG sowie für Studierende, die von Besch?ftigten der Universit?t diskriminiert werden.

Complaints Office under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG)
The General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) is intended to help prevent discrimination in the workplace. Employers and employees are prohibited from discriminating against each other.
The AGG gives employees the right to complain to the department, if they feel they have been discriminated against in connection with their employment relationship by the employer, superiors, other employees or third parties due to a reason specified in §1 AGG.
The AGG Complaint Office is the point of contact for all employees of the University as defined in §6 AGG as well as for students who are discriminated against by employees of the University.
§ 1 AIM OF THE LAW
The aim of the Act is to prevent or eliminate discrimination on the grounds of
- racial or ethnic?origin,
- gender,
- religion or belief,
- disability,
- age or
- sexual identity.
§ 6 PERSONAL SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Employees within the meaning of the Act are
- employees,
- persons employed for the purpose of their vocational training,
- persons who, due to their economic non-independence, are to be regarded as persons similar to employees.
Applicants for employment and persons whose employment has ended shall also be deemed to be employees.
